SlopSpot highlights the phrases that mark text as machine-written - the delve, the tapestry, the it is not just X, it is Y construction - in both page text and editable fields. The checking happens in the browser, so drafts you are reviewing are not sent anywhere, which matters if what you are checking is confidential.
At roughly 34KB it is deliberately tiny, and the job it does is narrow and well defined. If you edit other people's writing, or want a second pass on your own before publishing, it is a sensible last check.
It is a one-off paid purchase through Gumroad with no free trial, so you are buying on description. It is Chrome only, and cliche detection is inherently a heuristic - it will flag phrases you used deliberately and miss machine-written text that avoids the obvious tells. Treat it as a prompt to look again, not a verdict.
